Bonnie Montine Wheat pased away on January 11, 2015 at home in Corning, California with all her 11 children surrounding her. She was born on April 1, 1925 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Walter Leroy Lynch and Mary Elizabeth Stern. Bonnie married Roy Sammuel Wheat June 13th 1942 in Comanche Oklahoma. They were happily married for 40 years. She had many jobs throughout her life and her favorite was raising her 11 children and teaching them to be strong individuals. In her younger days she was a farm contractor for walnuts, grapes and cotton where she had many of her children working with her. Later in life she became an in home care provider. Her hobbies and interest include yard sailing, bingo, dancing and telling fortunes. She enjoyed going out to eat here in Corning with Darlene and Sharlene. Bonnie was known for serving tacos with fried potatoes and her famous fried pies. In her younger days she won awards for shuffleboard, dancing on skates and jitterbugging. Later in life she won awards for having the most grandchildren and she always enjoyed having huge family get togethers. She is survived by Trishann Gary of Tulare, Diane Carson of Porterville, Sharlene Forrester and Darlene Lindsay of Corning, Sonny Wheat of Porterville, Jack Wheat of Terra Bella, Katherine Allen of Porterville, Karen Reveles of Porterville, Liz Cole of Bakersfield, Steve Wheat of Porterville and Jimmy Wheat of Magalia. She has over 100 grandchildren and great, great, great grandchildren. She was loved and survived by 6 generations. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Wheat and her siblings.
