Carolyn Margaret Fly

February 3, 1933 - July 31, 2015

Carolyn Margaret Fly of Corning passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 in Red Bluff at the age of 82. She was born in San Francisco, California on February 3, 1933, she was raised and attended school in Sonora California. Carolyn was an avid horsewomen and owned and operated a pack and riding stables in the high Sierra near Echo Summit through the 50's and 60's. She rode in Northern California parades for over 40 yrs, and along with her long time companion, Ray Wysocki, participated in many trail rides and traveled hundreds of miles on the Pacific Coast Trail. She enjoyed R.V traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada, ridding historic trains and was a member of the Traditional Country Music and dance club. Carolyn was employed at Tenneco West in Chico California for 16 years and at Blue Diamond for 8 seasons. She later worked in Orland at the Senior Center office as a Thrift store manager until retirement. Survived by her long time companion , Ray Wysocki, 2 Children, son Russell Staggs, Daughter Colleen Wallace , 4 grandchildren, Shawn Staggs, Courtney Uhalde, Christopher Nelson and Brittney Yeager, and 3 great grandchildren.
