James “Jim” Thomas Thuemler

December 17, 1944 - December 27, 2021

James(Jim) Thomas Thuemler, age 77 son of Oscar and Reta Thuemler was born at Knapp hospital “2nd floor, 3rd window” in Crescent city California December 17,1944 He passed on December 27, 2021 Jim is a beloved husband, father, grand father, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Jim loved spending time with family. We will all remember the times we spent with him camping and fishing. Both at the ocean and in the mountains. Jim was known for having to have the biggest fire in the campground, then going to bed to let us watch it. Jim worked for Sierra Pacific Industries for 45 years. He started his career in the Chico plant, then moved to the Richfield plant in 1985 when it was built. Over the years, he was a moulder operator, foreman and at the time of his retirement a knife grinder. Jim loved his family, the ocean, the mountains, cutting wood, and the 49ers. He will be greatly missed
